Shipping policy
How Long After Ordering Do You Ship an Order?
Due to the nature of personalised products being made to order we aim to have all orders processed within a week (excluding weekends and holidays). If you require speedy delivery for a certain date, email us and we will try to help.
You will receive an order confirmation via email once your order has been placed, and a notification email once the parcel has been shipped with the tracking number.
Shipping Costs and Tracking
Please see below for estimated shipping times:

All parcels are sent with tracked shipping. If the checkout says there is no shipping available, you have ordered an amount that is too heavy for us to post to you. Please split your items up into two orders, or email us for help.
We use Royal Mail Tracked and DPD for UK parcels. Once the parcel leaves the bindery it can be tracked on the Royal Mail or DPD website
Do you Ship Internationally?
Currently we only deliver to the UK through midnightawl.com. We are looking into shipping Internationally and Worldwide as a future website update. Please do get in through email at info@midnightawl.com and will look into the shipping cost to your address.
Orders shipped outside of the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Midnight Awl is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are the responsibility of the customer.
Wrong or Incomplete Delivery Address
In the event of this you must contact us immediately, before the item is dispatched. We won't be able to refund you for your order if it gets lost. Hopefully the item will be returned to us, and then we will offer to refund your order (minus postage) or ask you to pay postage again to send it out a second time with an updated address.
Damaged items
If an order arrives damaged, or you believe it is faulty in any way, please contact info@midnightawl.com as soon as possible with a clear photo of the issue so we can appropriately address it for you. If we are not contacted within 14 days of delivery, we will be unable to take responsibility for the damage, unless it is a clear print/production error.
Although we take care to package goods appropriately, accidents can happen during transit, and we will do our best to resolve any issues for you.
Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. If accepted, we will refund the full order amount within 14 days, minus the original shipping cost. Please note that custom and personalised items cannot be returned.
Unfortunately as a small business, we are unable to cover the cost of returns, except for damaged or faulty items. Please get in touch if you have any questions about returns.
In the event that your order has arrived damaged, please email us as soon as possible at info@midnightawl.com with your order number and a photo of the item's condition.

Missed Delivery
In most circumstances, a collection card will be left by the shipping company with instructions on how to rearrange a delivery or how to collect your parcel from a local depot. Please use the tracking number to trace your parcel’s location.
